Construction Inspector

• Observes Contractor’s construction activities. Accepts work completed in compliance with contract documents, rejects defective work, maintains log of rejected work, assists with resolution of construction issues.

• Communicates daily with the client in execution of his/her duties. Communicates daily with Contractor’s field team.

• Tracks progress of work in field. Monitors Contractor’s adherence to schedule and provides input on Contractor’s payment requests.

• Conducts inspections to ensure that the work is performed in compliance with the contract documents. Ensures delivered materials comply with approved submittals. Observes and approves Contractor’s activities

• Maintains necessary project documentation, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports and logs. Prepares other required field documentation as necessary.

• Provides input for construction changes. Assist with preparation and negotiation of field orders and change orders.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ experience in Construction QA/QC

• Underground utility experience

• Electrical experience
