- Perform wire bonding operations using specialized bonding equipment, such as wedge bonders, ball bonders, or ultrasonic bonders.
- Execute precise wire bonding techniques to attach wires onto semiconductor devices or electronic components according to specifications.
- Set up and calibrate bonding equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to production standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed wire bonds to verify quality and consistency, making adjustments as necessary to meet requirements.
- Troubleshoot equipment or process issues that may arise during bonding operations, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper handling and storage of materials and equipment.
- Record production data accurately and maintain detailed documentation of work performed.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to address any issues related to wire bonding processes or product quality.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to promote a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Wire Bonder or similar role in a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of wire bonding techniques and equipment.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to work proficiently with small, delicate components and machinery.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment or process issues independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
