Salary: $95k-105k, DPOE

We are seeking a hands-on Tooling Manager to oversee mold maintenance, repairs, and tooling improvements. This role involves coordinating with vendors, supporting production teams, and ensuring all tooling meets safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have CAD proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in a manufacturing environment (specifically within Injection Molding facilities)
Mold Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, clean, store, and perform basic machining on molds, jigs, fixtures, and tooling; document all maintenance and modifications in the company database.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Obtain quotes, submit purchase orders, and communicate with mold makers and vendors (domestic and international) regarding tooling projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support internal divisions, interact with customers professionally, and assist with resolving tooling and manufacturing issues.
Continuous Improvement & Safety: Lead or participate in initiatives such as 5S, ISO, cross-training, and asset planning; ensure safety of company and customer assets.
Qualifications & Technical Skills: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; proficiency in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks); forklift certification; strong math, measurement, and problem-solving abilities.
