Title: Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
Salary: $120,000–$180,000 (DOE) + Comprehensive Benefits
Location: Corinne, Utah (Onsite for 12–18 months with expenses paid) then onsite in Salt Lake City, UT
Job Type: Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support a major industrial project. This role will be based at the project site near Corrinne, UT for approximately 12–18 months before transitioning to the Salt Lake City office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead instrumentation and controls engineering efforts from design through project execution.
- Size and specify instrumentation, control valves, flow meters, transmitters, and related equipment.
- Develop instrument datasheets, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and control panel designs.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and equipment vendors.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and engineering deliverables.
- Provide construction support and help ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years of instrumentation and controls engineering experience.
- Experience supporting industrial EPC or consulting engineering projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Experience with instrumentation design, control systems, and project execution.
- PLC programming experience is a plus.
