Shipping/ Receiving Clerk

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Exeter, NH
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday,9am or 10am – 6pm or 7pm 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Exeter, NH. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication between drivers, warehouse staff, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments

• Check drivers in and out upon arrival and departure

• Prepare, review, and process all shipping and receiving documentation 

• Maintain accurate records in the company’s system

• Communicate with carriers, warehouse personnel, and management regarding shipment status and discrepancies

• Verify shipment contents and quantities against purchase orders and delivery documents

• Assist with inventory tracking and reporting as needed

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards

Work Environment:

• Combination of office and warehouse setting

• Refrigerated warehouse environment (temperature-controlled)

• Company provides all required PPE

• While the majority of time will be spent in the office, candidates must be comfortable entering the warehouse as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of shipping and receiving experience required

• Experience scheduling shipments and handling transportation paperwork

• Basic to intermediate computer skills (data entry, email, warehouse management systems)

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Reliable attendance and punctuality
