Shipper and Receiver
Shipper I (Shipping / Warehouse) — Lawrence, MA (On-site)
Pay Rate: $19/hr | Location: Lawrence MA |Schedule: Monday- Friday 5:30am – 2:30pm
Summary
We’re hiring a Shipper I to support daily shipping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment in Lawrence, MA. This role helps ensure orders are picked, packed, labeled, weighed, and shipped accurately, while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.
What you’ll do
- Pick/pack product for shipment and manually count parts
- Weigh/count parts using an electronic scale
- Print/apply shipping labels to customer specifications
- Enter and track shipments/material moves in the manufacturing/ERP system
- Assist with inventory counts (cycle counts/physical inventory)
- Move materials and finished goods using a manual pallet jack
- Keep the work area organized; follow all site policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
What we’re looking for
- High school diploma/GED; shipping/warehouse experience preferred
- Comfortable with basic math (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
- Strong attention to detail; able to follow written instructions
- Basic computer skills for order processing and tracking
- Able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and be on your feet throughout the shift
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Must be 18+ and able to read/write/speak English
Work environment / Safety
- On-site industrial environment with noise, moving equipment, and forklift traffic
- PPE required (safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, etc.)
- Must safely use step ladders while maintaining 3 points of contact
