Location: Manchester, ME (travel between project sites daily)
Duration: Permanent
Pay Range: $80,000-120,000

Are you a safety professional with a strong background in transmission and distribution (T&D) projects? This is your opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of crews working across high-impact utility sites.

We’re seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to oversee field safety operations across multiple active construction projects. In this full-time role, you’ll conduct jobsite inspections, lead safety orientations, investigate incidents, and drive compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety protocols. You’ll work closely with field teams to promote a strong safety culture and provide hands-on guidance in real time.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform jobsite inspections focused on hazard recognition and resolution.

• Lead site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and compliance training.

• Support OSHA recordkeeping, investigations, and safety documentation.

• Collaborate with safety leadership to implement and enforce policies.

• Track PPE and safety equipment needs across all field locations.

• Support emergency storm response efforts, both locally and out of state.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of safety experience in construction, with a strong focus on transmission and distribution.

• Expertise in OSHA compliance, MAD, PPE, fall protection, confined space, and other T&D safety requirements.

• Certifications including OSHA 30, HAZWOPER 40, CPR/First Aid.

• Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field.

• Organized, proactive, and confident working independently across varied job sites.
