Quality Technician
Location: Methuen
Pay: $22-$24/hr. 
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm

Position Overview
The Quality Technician plays a key role in supporting production and quality systems by ensuring materials and finished products meet established standards. This position involves inspection, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review production records and incoming material documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Perform inspections on incoming materials and maintain detailed inspection records
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on components and assemblies using standard measuring tools
• Evaluate parts such as molded plastics, sheet metal, and packaging materials against specifications
• Assist in monitoring controlled manufacturing processes, including labeling and environmental checks
• Support internal audits by verifying adherence to established procedures and quality standards
• Partner with engineering and production teams to support calibration activities and equipment readiness
• Accurately document inspection results and quality data using electronic systems and standard software tools

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a quality or inspection role within a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
• Ability to interpret basic technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record and report findings
• Comfortable working both independently and within a team setting
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in a technical field (engineering, science, or math) is a plus
• Experience in a high-mix, low-volume production setting is preferred
