RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successful candidate will provide technical and clerical support performing a wide variety of duties involving compiling and arranging data, running reports, and processing documents.
- Practical applications of advanced secretarial procedures and document processing in a business environment to include typing, proof reading, managing a reception/switchboard area, internal and external customer service, and arranging travel for employees.
- Individual will assist engineers and other employees with research, composition, editing and producing documents and reports.
- Individual will be responsible to maintain comprehensive records, files, and distribution of company deliverables.
- Individual will provide administrative support for activities related to proposal preparation and coordination, and various marketing and advertising tasks.
- Individual shall use and maintain company databases.
- Individual must be able to operate a personal computer to input, edit and produce documents within established quality and time guidelines.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in business administration, business management, communications, event coordination, marketing, paralegal studies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required with competency in software applications for databases (Access) and the ability to become familiar with company specific programs and software.
- Competency in proof reading skills is required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, friendly and professional demeanor are required.
- Effective time management skills are required.
- Ability to work independently to complete projects accurately and on time is required.
- Attention to detail is required with the ability to proof read large documents in a timely manner.
- Position requires individual to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
- Successful candidate is required to have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work to accomplish goals.
- Ability to pass and maintain security and drug screening is required.
- Successful candidate will be required to understand and comply with company policies, procedures and processes.
- Ability to pass proficiency tests in software and proof reading skills administered by company is required.
