Role: Planning Group Manager – AICP
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 + bonus
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: Permanent/Direct-Hire
Ready to shape vibrant communities and lead a growing team? We’re seeking a Certified Planner (AICP) or Licensed Landscape Architect to guide high-profile planning and design projects across the Triangle.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a Planning & Landscape Architecture team while driving department growth.
- Partner with clients to develop master plans, corridor plans, and site plans, managing rezoning, entitlements, and implementation.
- Oversee design development, contract documentation, budgeting, and agency coordination for projects like mixed-use developments, urban infill sites, parks, greenways, and large-scale master plans.
- Represent clients in public meetings, planning boards, and community forums.
- Build client relationships, write proposals, and lead business development efforts.
What You Bring
- Certified Planner (AICP) or Licensed Landscape Architect with a degree in Planning or Landscape Architecture.
- 8+ years in land planning or landscape architecture with strong design, entitlement, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, financial management, and public presentation abilities.
