Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Newburyport, MA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for finishing, cleaning, and packaging small metal components to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment.

What You’ll Do

• Load parts into tumblers for finishing and drying
• Operate cascade/separator systems to clean parts prior to packaging
• Package parts according to customer specifications
• Perform visual inspections to identify defects
• Set up and operate automatic scales for accurate packaging
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials
• Monitor equipment for proper operation and report issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all quality management and safety procedures

• Proper separation of parts and lot control
• Clean, well-finished components ready for shipment
• Accurate labeling and packaging
• Organized work area with minimal errors or delays
• Safe and efficient operation of all equipment

What You Bring

• Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment
• Basic math and record-keeping skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to follow processes and work instructions
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety

Preferred Experience

• Warehouse or shipping experience
• Industrial machine operation experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Standing and moving throughout the shift
• Handling and transporting heavy pallets
