Location: Beverly, MA
Shift: 7AM to 3:30 PM
Compensation: $23/hr

Position Overview
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing high-precision products and subassemblies under minimal supervision. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with tight tolerances to meet strict quality and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of subassemblies, standard products, and custom builds using established procedures and work instructions
• Fit, align, and adjust components requiring close tolerances and precision inspection standards
• Set up and test completed products to ensure compliance with specifications and customer order requirements
• Interpret diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine assembly requirements
• Support quality initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve product and process performance
• Provide guidance or explain assembly techniques and procedures to team members when needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a mechanical or precision assembly environment

Work Environment
This position operates within a dedicated laboratory in a professional manufacturing environment. Employees routinely use electrical test equipment, standard hand tools, and office equipment such as computers and phones.

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity required for precision assembly work
• Visual acuity (corrected) for reading prints and inspecting machined components
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the shop floor regularly
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to squat or kneel as required

Schedule

• Full-time hourly position
• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
