Job Title: Construction Materials Testing Manager
Location: Wichita, KS
Duration: Direct Hire/Permanent
Pay Range: $110,000 – $130,000
We’re looking for an experienced CMT Manager to lead a growing team and oversee materials testing operations on some of Wichita’s most high-profile construction projects. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do:
Lead daily department operations and manage a team of technicians and engineers
Oversee testing, safety, scheduling, and client communications
Prepare proposals, manage project budgets, and drive business development
Ensure high standards of quality and compliance across all projects
Mentor staff and support career development
What You Bring:
10+ years of experience in construction materials testing or related field
Previous supervisory experience; P.E. license strongly preferred
Strong technical background in concrete, soils, and construction inspection
Business-minded with excellent communication and leadership skills
