Be the first line of defense for inventory accuracy — where every shipment counts.
Location: Chelmsford, MA
Pay: $21-24/hr
We’re looking for a reliable Material Handler to support receiving, inventory accuracy, and material flow in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you take pride in doing things right the first time and enjoy hands-on work, this is a great opportunity to jump into a well-run operation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Receiving & Inspection
Unload shipments using forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or manual handling
Verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders (quantities, SKUs, descriptions)
Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
Sign Bills of Lading (BOL) while properly documenting any damages or missing items
Inventory & System Accuracy
Enter received materials into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or RF scanners
Label and tag pallets for accurate tracking throughout the warehouse
Report overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) to inventory or purchasing teams
Staging & Material Flow
Stage materials in designated receiving areas for efficient put-away
Identify urgent materials for cross-docking directly to shipping
Break down mixed pallets and sort materials by SKU
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
At least 1 year of warehouse or receiving experience
Comfortable with computers and basic data entry
Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters
Basic math skills
Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods
Pallet jack experience (electric or manual) preferred
