Material Distribution Lead

We’re looking for a Material Distribution Lead to keep our production floor stocked and running. You’ll make sure the right materials reach manufacturing technicians in the right quantity and quality, at the right place and time — owning kitting, kanban, and point-of-use replenishment for our robotics manufacturing cells.

• Stage all work orders, kits, and stations before builds start
• Identify part shortages early and drive recovery plans
• Manage line-side replenishment, kanban, and point-of-use stocking
• Build and deliver complete, on-time kits based on the build plan
• Cycle count line-side and WIP; reconcile system vs. physical inventory
• Maintain visual boards and give status updates in daily production meetings
• Drive lean/6S improvements to reduce material touches and improve flow

• Experience handling inventory physically and in an ERP system (Epicor a plus)
• Strong knowledge of cycle counting, kitting, work orders, and material flow
• Familiarity with lean, takt time, and 6S principles (or willingness to learn)
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand ~70% of the day, and operate MHE
• High school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to pass a background and drug test. Some overtime and Saturday availability may be required
