$40.00 – 50.00/hr
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician III to support manufacturing and facility operations in a fast-paced production environment. This senior-level role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, electrical systems, compressed air systems, and facility infrastructure while helping drive equipment reliability and preventive maintenance improvements.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, electrical systems, furnaces, and facility systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and support CMMS documentation
- Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and 3-phase systems up to 480V
- Support calibration activities and equipment reliability initiatives
- Respond to equipment downtime issues and determine corrective actions
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and vendor coordination
- Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians
- Maintain safe work practices and support regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, pneumatics, compressed air systems, and industrial controls
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Experience using CMMS systems preferred
- Technical degree, trade school training, or electrical certification is a plus
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, or regulated production environments
- Preventive maintenance program experience
- Forklift or lift equipment certifications a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
