Maintenance Supervisor
Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Gloucester, MA
Duration: Permanent/Direct-Hire
Salary: 75-90K + bonus
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our 2nd Shift maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, coordinating technician workloads, and ensuring equipment reliability to support safe and efficient production.
The ideal candidate will bring strong maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial plant, along with the technical ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and prioritize repairs. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and support overall plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians on 2nd Shift
Coordinate scheduled and emergency equipment repairs to maintain uptime
Prioritize maintenance activities based on production needs
Provide technical troubleshooting support for mechanical and equipment issues
Support technician training and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Prior leadership or supervisory experience within maintenance operations
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with CMMS systems a plus
Electrical or controls experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
