Assembly Lead – 1st Shift

Location: Beverly, MA
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $24.00–$25.00/hr

We’re looking for a hands-on Assembly Lead to oversee a small team of 5–10 assemblers in a medical device manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced assembler or manufacturing professional ready to take on more leadership responsibility.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a team of 5–10 manufacturing assemblers.
• Coordinate daily work to meet production, quality, and scheduling goals.
• Remain hands-on with assembly using hand tools, small power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Train and mentor employees on assembly procedures, quality standards, and documentation.
• Monitor productivity and communicate production issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and GMP requirements.
• Perform quality inspections and help troubleshoot production or assembly issues.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and team-focused work environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience required.
• Lead, training, or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Medical device, GMP, or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and provide daily direction to production employees.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable being a hands-on leader on the production floor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
