Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $75K-$100K
About the Role
An established and fast-growing metal fabrication company is seeking a Junior Construction Project Manager to join its team.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role designed for someone ready to grow into full project management responsibilities. The position involves supporting project execution, coordinating across teams, and helping ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with client expectations. The role reports directly to senior leadership within project and shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and support management of contract drawings and project specifications
- Assist in producing and reviewing erection and fabrication drawings for miscellaneous and architectural metal work
- Help develop and maintain project schedules to support timely completion
- Communicate with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders to support project flow
- Participate in site visits for field measurements and site surveys
- Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Experience in construction project coordination, project management, or detailing within metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications
- Exposure to miscellaneous and architectural metals preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with job scheduling is a plus
