Title: Controls Engineer
Location: LA
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay Range: $60 – $70/hr
Travel Expenses: Reasonable expenses for meals and lodging reimbursed with receipts.
Mob/Demob: Up to $500 each way for reasonable miles, meals, and lodging with receipts
Target start date / availability: Oct 30
REQUIREMENTS:
- The preferred candidate will have extensive knowledge of the ICS controls system as well as Toolbox understanding and experience.
- 10+ years of project commissioning experience, specifically in combined cycle gas plant construction projects
- Strong understanding of HRSG units
- Knowledge of power station systems and components.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&ID’s, and specifications, for comparison with actual field activities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective personal computer skills.
- Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education – Engineering (electrical), or related.
