Role: Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Buffalo, NY
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 + bonus
Duration: Permanent
Join a growing engineering team where you’ll lead impactful geotechnical projects from investigation through construction. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, apply your technical expertise, and take ownership of projects involving complex subsurface conditions.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, field programs, and project deliverables while maintaining schedules and budgets
Oversee soil borings, test pits, sampling, and field testing to evaluate subsurface conditions
Analyze geotechnical data and prepare engineering reports with practical recommendations
Provide technical guidance to clients, contractors, and project teams throughout design and construction
Monitor industry standards, codes, and best practices to support high-quality project outcomes
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
4–8+ years of geotechnical engineering experience, including field investigations, testing, and analysis
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or progress toward obtaining licensure
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects while working independently and collaboratively
