Role: Director of Survey
Salary: 160,000 – 190,000, DPOE
Location: Orlando, Lakeland or Tampa, FL
Duration: Permanent/Direct-Hire
We’re looking for an experienced survey leader to take charge of our growing surveying division. As Director of Survey, you’ll guide a talented team, oversee project delivery, and drive innovation in survey technology and practices—all while building lasting client relationships.
What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor survey teams with a focus on quality, safety, and performance
Oversee project execution, ensuring accuracy, timelines, and budgets are met
Partner with engineering and geospatial teams for seamless data integration
Strengthen client relationships and support business development efforts
Introduce innovative tools and technologies to advance survey operations
What You Bring
Bachelor’s in Surveying/Geomatics or equivalent experience
10+ years in land surveying, with 5+ years in leadership
Active PSM or PLS license (required)
Strong project management and client-facing experience
Proficiency with GPS, LiDAR, GIS, and other modern survey tools
