Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning & Start-Up Manager to support planning, testing strategy, and execution readiness for large-scale industrial and mission-critical infrastructure projects.
This role is focused primarily on startup and commissioning planning, sequencing, and coordination rather than day-to-day field execution. The CSU Manager will work closely with engineering, construction, vendors, and commissioning teams to prepare complex systems for testing, startup, integration, and turnover.
Key Responsibilities
Develop startup and commissioning plans and procedures.
Establish testing, turnover, and commissioning sequencing.
Coordinate CSU requirements across engineering, construction, vendors, and field teams.
Develop testing strategies for modular and packaged systems.
Define system boundaries, dependencies, and readiness requirements.
Support commissioning schedules, documentation, and execution planning.
Coordinate integration of individual modules and systems into the completed facility.
Provide technical support during startup and commissioning execution.
Qualifications
Strong commissioning, startup, or CSU experience on large industrial, power, energy, or mission-critical projects.
Experience developing commissioning plans and sequencing strategies.
Strong understanding of the project lifecycle from engineering and construction through startup and turnover.
Experience with modular construction or packaged systems preferred.
Data center or mission-critical commissioning experience highly preferred.
Power generation, utility, or industrial power infrastructure experience is a plus.
Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple project disciplines.
