Role: Construction Project Manager
Salary: 160,000 – $175,000 + bonus
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Duration: Permanent/Direct Hire
We’re looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to serve as a trusted owner’s representative on large-scale commercial construction projects. This is an opportunity to take a strategic role overseeing complex projects, advising clients, managing risk, and ensuring successful project delivery from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
- Represent the owner throughout all phases of large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Review plans, contracts, and project documents for constructability, scope, and value-engineering opportunities.
- Manage budgets, contractor bids, pay applications, change orders, contingencies, and financial reporting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing schedule and delivery challenges.
- Lead OAC meetings and serve as a key point of contact for clients and project teams.
- Conduct regular site visits and provide executive-level project updates and recommendations.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Construction Management preferred.
- 10+ years of construction management experience, including 5+ years on large-scale commercial projects with a GC or owner’s representative firm.
- Strong understanding of construction delivery methods and building codes.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and confidently represent client interests.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for project and client needs.
The Details
- $160K–$175K annual salary
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days in the Huntington Beach or Pasadena office, with the remainder split between project sites and meetings as needed.
- Local and regional travel, with some out-of-state travel.
