CNC Machinist

Location: Wilmington, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Flex Hours: Available once fully trained.
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience

Position Summary

FootBridge is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with 5–7 years of experience to join a skilled manufacturing team in Wilmington, MA.

The ideal candidate will have strong CNC machining experience and the ability to machine precision parts from engineering drawings and production schedules. This position will work closely with Engineering, Assembly, and Service teams to support production and quick-turnaround machining needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and production schedules.
• Work with Engineering to review drawings and provide input on the best methods for manufacturing parts.
• Support the Assembly team and Service Technicians with quick-turnaround part modifications and machining needs.
• Perform CNC machine setups, machining, and adjustments as required.
• Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the machining process.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving machining issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5–7 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with both low- and high-volume CNC manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with hard and soft milling techniques.
• Experience with CAM software programming.
• ESPRIT CAM experience preferred.
• DMG machine experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with Engineering, Assembly, and Service teams.

Compensation & Schedule

• $70,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
• Flex hours may be available once fully trained, allowing employees to adjust their schedule by starting earlier or staying later on certain days to accommodate personal commitments while meeting business and production needs.

The ideal candidate is a skilled CNC Machinist with solid hands-on machining experience who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts. This person should be comfortable working from drawings, collaborating with Engineering, and supporting Assembly and Service teams with machining modifications and quick-turnaround requests.
