In December, our team missed out on a holiday celebration at the Stage Neck Inn in York, Maine, due to a COVID-19 outbreak. To make up for not being able to get together in person, we decided to do something a little different. With mask mandates lifting in March and many restaurants opening their doors, we thought, what better way to treat our energy staffing services support team with dinner out on us! Here, they share what made their evening special.
CFO Emily Ingersoll went to Black and Blue in Burlington, Massachusetts. “We picked this for a restaurant,” according to Emily, “Because I could get a reservation and didn’t confirm the babysitter till Tuesday for Saturday night (LOL). It was supposed to snow, so I didn’t venture into the city as originally planned.
The non-highlight, according to Emily, was slipping in the snow while running to the car in heels. The highlight was enjoying a decanted bottle of wine with her husband! “It was a delish cab!” she said. “Not to mention the pretzel bread was surprisingly good!” Overall, Emily told us the food was good, and the company was err hmm, handsome!
Administrative assistant Brianna Lowe went out on the town with her best friend and some other acquaintances to celebrate their March birthdays – yay! “It was an excuse to celebrate, and the food and drinks were amazing!” Brianne said. What’s more, they had the funniest server who made their night that much better. Brianna gave the experience a 10 out of 10!
Mikayla Rentas, FootBridge’s Client Sales Representative, went out to Tuscan Kitchen in Salem, NH with her mom and her new husband! Kate Gagnon, Senior Recruiter, enjoyed some sushi in Portland, OR.
Ray LaMonica, Client Business Manager, kept it local in Andover, MA with La Fina steakhouse, which he highly recommends. Tony Beltsis, Program Manager, tried his luck at Mohegan Sun, we’re not sure if it panned out… but we hope he had a nice meal anyway!
